YONKERS, N.Y. – Lena D'Intino of Yonkers died Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 101.
She was born in Compobasso, Italy, on Feb. 1, 1914. She married Anthony D'Intino in 1939, and they celebrated 64 years together before his death in 2002.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas (Camille) D'Intino; and her daughter, Louise (Dominic) Morelli; grandchildren Nicholas Jr., Camille, Dominic and Michael; great-grandchildren Ashley, Alexa, Nicholas, Lucas, Natalie and James; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
