Kenneth J. Walsh, 92, Lifelong Yonkers Resident

YONKERS, N.Y. - Kenneth J. Walsh, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Wednesday, May 7. He was 92.

Walsh was born May 28, 1921, to Joseph and Mary Lesko Walsh in Yonkers where he was raised and educated, graduating from Sacred Heart High School. He was a sales manager in the Good Humor and Lipton Companies in New York City until retirement in 1987. He was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Church where he was a eucharistic minister and an usher.

Walsh is survived by his sisters, Regina and Eileen Walsh of Yonkers; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, James and Thomas Walsh; and sisters, Elizabeth Hagan and Patricia Pflaumer.

Calling hours are Sunday, May 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, May 12 in Sacred Heart Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
