Kathleen Moynihan, 75, Lifelong Yonkers Resident

YONKERS, N.Y. – Kathleen Mack Moynihan, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Oct. 1 at Calvary Hospital in Bronx, N.Y. She was 75. 

Moynihan was born Sept. 14, 1937, to Francis and Eva Cohen Mack in Yonkers, where she was raised and educated. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School and worked as an IT manager at Frank B. Hall Company in Briarcliff Manor for more than 15 years. 

She then worked a benefits officer for the Police Benevolent Association in Yonkers for 11 years. Moynihan also volunteered at St. John's Riverside Hospital for several years. 

She is survived by a son, Kevin (Christine) Gorman, of Ramsey, N.J.; a daughter, Colleen (Lance) Pavone-Feldman, of Holmes, N.Y.; a brother, Francis X. Mack, of Morganville, N.J.; a sister, Evelyn Riley, of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Ann Rollinson. 

Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow in Ferncliff Chapel in Hartsdale.
