Juanita Moody, 62, Lifetime Yonkers Resident

YONKERS, N.Y. - Juanita Moody, a lifetime Yonkers resident, died Wednesday, Jan. 8. She was 62.

Moody was born March 17, 1951, in Yonkers, to Emma and William Coleman. She attended Yonkers Public Schools, and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was a member of Christian Love Tabernacle in Yonkers, for over 25 years.

Moody is survived by her husband, William Moody Sr.; children, Monique Moody, Chanell Moody, William Moody Jr., Christina Moody and Shalita Moody; four grandchildren; siblings, Bruce Coleman, Cheryl Coleman, Alicia Graham, Willy Coleman, Arthur Coleman, Joseph Coleman, and Scott Coleman; aunts, uncles; nieces, nephews; and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, Boyce Coleman.

Calling hours are from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Christian Love Tabernacle in Yonkers and the service will immediately follow the viewing at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery Hastings on Hudson. Repass will be held at Christian Love Tabernacle following the burial.
