Joseph O'Reilly, Navy Veteran, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Joseph O'Reilly, a resident of Yonkers, died Monday, May 23.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a longtime member of the American Legion, Post 1122. He worked for the N.Y. Central and Penn Central Railroads and retired from the Interstate Commerce Commission.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn M. O'Reilly; his children, Michael J. (Catherine) O'Reilly, Anne Marie (John) Trubinski and Sharon (Chris) Naum; grandchildren, Kerry, Danielle, Katie, Michelle, Julianne, Laura, Alex and Joe.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 26, at 10 a.m., at St. Eugene's Church, Yonkers.
