YONKERS, N.Y. - Joseph L. Muggeo of Yonkers died Wednesday, May 14. He was 85.
Muggeo was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Brooklyn, and was the son of Vincenzo and Maria (Mastrototaro) Muggeo. He owned and operated Muggeo Fuel Oil in Yonkers.
Muggeo is survived by his daughter, Lorraine (Ron) Tamburello of Yonkers; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and wife, Mildred Muggeo.
Calling hours are Sunday, May 18 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 18 at St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave., Yonkers. Entombment will be in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
