HAWTHORNE, N.Y. - Janina Socha, of Hawthorne, formerly of Yonkers, died Monday, Oct. 20. She was 93.
Socha is survived by her children, James Socha (Stephanie), Helen Socha, and Casimir Socha (Nancy); and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Socha; sister, Sophia Adamchek; and brothers, Stephan and Walter Socha.
Calling hours are Friday, Oct. 24 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at Duchynski-Cherko Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25 at St. Casimir's Church. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale.
