YONKERS, N.Y. - James Schofield of Yonkers died Tuesday, Feb. 18. He was 57.
Schofield was born May 23, 1956, to Harry and Felicia (Marconti) Schofield in Mt. Vernon. He graduated from Christopher Columbus H.S. in the Bronx. He worked as a mechanic for an auto body repair shop in the Bronx.
Schofield is survived by his wife, Melody; sister, Carolyn Brady; sister-in-law, Ruth; brother-in-law, Charles Magner; and a great nephew.
Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 20 and Friday, Feb. 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 in Christ the King Church with interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
