James Romansoff (M.T.A.), 58, Of Yonkers, Electrician And Maintenance Man

YONKERS, N.Y. - James Romansoff (M.T.A.) of Yonkers died Monday, March 10. He was 58.

Romansoff was born Dec. 11, 1955, to Stephen and Genevieve (Tadusek) Romansoff in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Gorton High School. He worked as an electrician for Metro North for the last eight years, he also worked as a maintenance man for the Sugar House for 23 years. He was a member of IBEW Local 7.

Romansoff is survived by his daughter, Candace of Hawaii; sister, Jean (Pat) Sava of Mt. Vernon; and nieces and nephew.

Calling hours are Friday, March 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15 at the funeral home. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
