Hugh M. Gunn, 87, Former Resident Of Yonkers

PEARL RIVER, N.Y. - Hugh M. Gunn of Pearl River, formerly of Yonkers and Manhattan, died Saturday, Dec. 13. He was 87.

Gunn was born May, 30, 1927, in Manhattan, to Hugh and Mary Gunn. He worked for Worsell Meats in Manhattan and the Chestnut Ridge Transportation Company before retiring. He lived in Pearl River for the past 49 years. He previously lived in Yonkers and Manhattan.

Gunn is survived by his sons, William (Janet) and Brian (Jean); daughters, Doreen (Thomas) Cokeley and Susan (Charles) Romaine; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; and grandson, Sean Cokeley.

Calling hours are Monday, Dec. 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Joseph W. Sorce FH Inc. in West Nyack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16 at St. Aedan's Roman Catholic Church in Pearl River. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
