YONKERS, N.Y. - Helen Szulhan (Imrich) of Yonkers died Nov. 25. She was 85.
Szulhan was born April 12, 1928, to Mary and George Imrich. She was a lifelong resident of Yonkers attending Commerce High School. Upon graduation, she was employed as a bookkeeper at E. Rabinou and Company in Yonkers. She did volunteer work at Yonkers General Hospital gift shop and also served as parish secretary at both Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, both in Yonkers. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Yonkers.
Szulhan is survived by her son, Stephen G. (Maria) of Yonkers; and brother, Edward Imrich (Anna) of Tampa, Fla. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephan; brothers, John, George and Joseph Imrich; and sisters, Margaret (Imrich), Danna, and Mary Imrich Waclaw.
Calling hours are Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen and Ball Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment at Oakland Cemetery.
