Helen R. Mandragona, 93, Former Resident Of Yonkers

MAHOPAC, N.Y. - Helen R. Mandragona of Mahopac, and formerly of Yonkers and the Bronx, died Friday, Nov. 21. She was 93.

Mandragona was born Oct. 10, 1921, in New York City, to Pietro and Carmela Riccardelli DeSantis. She was a parishioner of St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.

Mandragona is survived by her son, Vic (Lorraine) of Mahopac; daughter, Ellen Longi (Jerry) of Katonah; brother, Angelo DeSantis of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; sisters, Yolanda Cinquemani of the Bronx and Jean Mattiace of Patterson; four grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor Mandragona.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24 at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac with interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx.

Donations may be made in memory of Mandragona to the American Cancer Society.
