Gary M. Treco, 47, Former Yonkers Resident, Carpenter

JEFFERSON, N.Y. -- Gary M. Treco of Jefferson, formerly of Yonkers, died Sunday, Feb. 9. He was 47.

Treco was born Nov. 15, 1966, to Robert and Jean (Sajdak) Treco in Yonkers where he was raised and graduated from Saunders High School. He worked as a carpenter in New York Ciity

Treco is survived by his wife, Cathy Girolamo; son, Colin Treco; parents; brothers, Robert Jr., Kevin, Michael and T.J.

Calling hours are Thursday, Feb. 13 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at Christ the King Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Donations may be made to the family to help the future education of Colin Treco.
