Mero was born March 10, 1964, in Dublin, Ireland, to Marie and Gabor Mero. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Yonkers, class of 1982. He received his law degree from Pace University School of Law in 1990 and was an experienced litigator.
Mero is survived by his wife, Laura (nee Quirk) Mero; daughter, Ava Mero; and brothers, Erick Mero and Marc Mero.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Feb. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave. Funeral service at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6 at St. Ann's Church, 854 Midland Ave. Interment will be in Amawalk Hill Cemetery.
