YONKERS, N.Y. -- The funeral Thursday for slain Yonkers athlete Michael Nolan drew a standing-room-only crowd and an emotional response from his family, according to reports.
The funeral for Nolan, 23, who died as a result of wounds suffered in a drive-by shooting in September, was held at St. Paul the Apostle Church, LoHud reported.
Nolan, a Saunders Trades and Technical High School graduate who was drafted by the Oakland Athletics, was eulogized by his brother Jim, according to LoHud.
