ELMSFORD, N.Y. – Frederick L. Peloso, of Elmsford and formerly of Yonkers, died on Tuesday, March 10. He was 69.
Peloso was born on Oct. 17, 1945 to Alfred and Helen Adams Peloso in Yonkers, graduating from Gorton High School, attending Mercy College and serving in the Army, being stationed in Germany from 1963 to 1966.
After his return, he worked as a carpenter for the Albert Einstein Hospital for Medicine for more than 10 years.
He married Margaret Thomas on Oct. 12, 1970,
Peloso is survived by his wife; their two sons, Fred and his wife, Jenna; Michael and his wife, Kelly; four grandchildren, Timothy, Ava, Lillian and Samantha; three sisters, Kathy Pagkos and her husband John; Ali Cahill and her husband Patrick; Helen Colangelo and her husband John; and brother Thomas and his wife Sofia.
Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home in Yonkers, on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m., with a funeral service to follow.
