YONKERS, N.Y. - Frank Magnone of Yonkers died May 15. He was 87.
Magnone immigrated to the U.S. and worked various jobs to pursue the American dream. In 1962, he purchased his first building and became a real estate investor.
Magnone is survived by his wife, Angela; children, Tony (Debra), Frank, and Rosemary (Tony) Addino; and five grandchildren.
Calling hours are Friday, May 16 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at F. Ruggiero & Sons, Inc., 732 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers, NY 10704. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17 at St. John the Baptist Church, Yonkers. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Calvary Hospital.
