Frank John Barile, 82, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Frank John Barile, of Yonkers, died on Saturday, July 11. He was 82.

Barile was born on Oct. 27, 1932, to John Santa Maria and Mary Barile in the Bronx.

He graduated from City College of New York, and served as a navigator in the Air Force, retiring as a major.

After his service, he resided in Cary, N.C., then took over his father's business, John's Tavern in the Bronx.

He is survived by longtime partner Kathy Revelese; three sons, John and his wife Suzy of Harmony, N.C., Darryl and his wife Jana of Cary, N.C., and Russell and his wife Lisa of Apex, N.C., two stepchildren, Lisa Mirante, and Vickie Osnato and her husband Sal, eight grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Barile was predeceased by his brother Michael, and sister Michelina M. Savino.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Thursday, July 16, at St. Anthony's Church on Richardson Avenue in the Bronx.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Fisher House Foundation.
