YONKERS, N.Y. – Frank J. Petronella, 101, of Yonkers, died Sunday, April 12.
During the Depression, he was accepted into the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis but declined due to the economic situation at the time. He was the former president of the New York Dental Guild and founder and owner of Orium Processing Corp. of New York.
He was the husband of the late Alba Petronella.
He is survived by his children, Dr. Frank (Marianne) Petronella and Janet Petronella; seven grandchildren; and one brother and one sister.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 14, at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church followed by interment at Mount Hope Cemetery.
