Frank Charles Torelli Of Yonkers Dies

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Frank Charles Torelli "Il Dukea" of Yonkers died on Monday, July 20. He was 85.

Torelli was born in 1930 in Yonkers.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and afterwards owned and operated Frank's Cleaners in Yonkers for more than 40 years before retiring in 2000.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Bloch, her husband Rene, granddaughters Alyssa and Kirsten, and great grandson, Tyler, his sister Betty Torelli, and his brother Louis Torelli, and his wife Mary Beth.

He was a passionate bowler who enjoyed competing in many leagues.

Visiting at the Flynn Memorial Home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Eugene's Church in Yonkers on Thursday at 10 a.m. Committal will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
