Frank Casareale, 78, Of Yonkers, Retired Inspector, U.S. Customs Service

YONKERS, N.Y. - Frank Casareale of Yonkers died Sunday, Dec. 7. He was 78.

Casareale was born Oct. 7, 1936, in the Bronx, to Antonio and Maria Casareale. He was a retired inspector for the U.S. Customs Service.

Casareale is survived by his wife, Edna (Fodor) Casareale; children, Mary-Kay (Lee) Rivera, Anthony (Francine) Casareale, Theresa (Tom) Walsh and Connie Peck; sisters, Constance (Rob) Warkenthien and Maria Scimeca; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Joseph Casareale and Dominic Casareale.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Sinatra Memorial Home, Inc., 601 Yonkers Ave., Yonkers. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11 at Mt Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave., Yonkers. Committal will be private.
