YONKERS, N.Y. - Florence Salvatore of Yonkers died Feb. 15. She was 98.
Salvatore was born in the Bronx, to Luciano and Marietta Pullaccia Ferrante. She was the former manager of her husband and son's business, Joseph Salvatore and Son's Roofing Co. Inc., on Yonkers Avenue.
Salvatore is survived by her children, Michael Salvatore and Loretta (Thomas) Dillon; sibling, Marian Tavalucci; three grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Salvatore.
Calling hours will be private. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19 at St. John the Baptist Church with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
