YONKERS, N.Y. — Florence Ann Sabol, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died on Sunday, March 29. She was 84.
Sabol was born to John and Susan (nee Simone) Sabol; She graduated from Gorton High School, Concordia College and Hunter College and taught at Public School 23 in Yonkers for more than 43 years, retiring in 1996.
She is survived by her nephew, Frank Masick and his wife, Mary.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Yonkers Funeral Service, at 107 Yonkers Ave. in Yonkers.
The funeral service will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
