YONKERS, N.Y. — Lifetime Yonkers resident Fannie "Chicky" Chirurgi (Tocco) died on Tuesday, May 3. She was 88.
She is survived by her children Robert Chirurgi and his wife, Susan, and Dr. Roger Chirurgi and his wife, Margherita; her sister Bella DeRuggierio; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Enzo Chirurgi, son, Joseph "GaGa" Chirurgi, brother Peter Tocco and sister Angela D'Eufemia.
Visitation is at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave., in Yonkers on Thursday, May 5, from 4-8 p.m.
A Funeral Mass at Mount Carmel Church, 70 Park Hill Ave., in Yonkers, will be celebrated on Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers.
