YONKERS, N.Y. – Elias "Louis" Katsihtis, of Yonkers, died Monday, April 13. He was 75.
Katsihtis was the cook and owner of Star Diner in White Plains, earning the nickname “Papa Louie."
He is survived by his wife, Christina; his children, Ann and Jack; his grandchildren, Louis, Jackie and Niko; and his siblings, Theodore, Georgia, James and Potoula.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, April 16, from 4-8 p.m. at Flynn Memorial Home on Central Park Avenue.
A funeral service is set for Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in New Rochelle.
Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
