YONKERS, N.Y. - Dorothy J. Karol, a lifelong Yonkers resident, died Saturday, May 10. She was 83.
Karol was born Oct. 13, 1930, to John and Mary (Benya) Karol in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. She was a secretary at Otis Elevator Company in Yonkers for many years prior to her retirement.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and siblings.
A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date.
