YONKERS, N.Y. - Dorothy Engelhardt of Yonkers died Friday, Jan. 3. She was 87.
Engelhardt was born Aug. 26, 1926, to Herman and Alvina Engelhardt in Yonkers where she was raised and educated. She worked as the assistant manager for the First National Bank in Getty Square. She was a parishioner of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hastings, where she served as the secretary for the Church Board of Directors.
Engelhardt is survived by her nephews, Arthur (Barbara) and Edward (Helen) Engelhardt; and niece, June Dorazio. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and George; nephew, George; and niece, Carol Ann.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 12 at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hastings. Interment at Ferncliff Mausoleum Monday, Jan. 13 at 10 a.m.
