YONKERS, N.Y. - Dorene Quinlan Sanks of Yonkers died Saturday, April 5. She was 66.
Sanks was born Dec. 2, 1947, to Lorraine (Grady) Quinlan in Yonkers but was raised by Austin (Ace) and Rose (Grady) Millen. She graduated from Blessed Sacrament Academy. She worked as a medical sales rep. for Zee Medical in Westchester.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and did volunteer work for the North Yonkers Preservation in Yonkers.
Sanks is survived by her daughters, Tara (Adam) Rovner of Florida and Traci (Thomas) Myhal of Suffern; six grandchildren; and a cousin. She was predeceased by her husband, Williams Sanks.
Calling hours are Wednesday, April 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Whalen and Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, April 10 in Sacred Heart Church. Interment at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
