Fields was born July 9, 1956, in Yonkers, to Nancy L. Wamack and William H. Jacobs, Sr. She was educated in Yonkers public schools. She was married to Michael R. Fields.
Fields is survived by her children, Katina Fields and Michael Fields, Jr., both of Yonkers, Shawntanya Fields of Pelham and Marcia Warren of Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Wamack of Yonkers, Dawn Wamack of Lancaster, Pa., and Linda Jacobs of Yonkers; brothers, William Henry Jacobs, Jr. of Yonkers, Calvin Jacobs, Darryl Jacobs of Harlem and Kenneth Jacobs of Mt. Vernon; nieces, nephews; great nieces, great nephews; cousins; and friends.
Calling hours Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 10 a.m. in the Community Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
