Charles V. Zanchelli, a longtime resident of Yonkers, suddenly died on Saturday, Dec. 23. He was 47 years old.

Born in the Bronx on October 8, 1970 to Charles and Cynthia Miller Zanchelli. Charlie was pre-deceased by his father Charles. He is survived by his mother Cynthia, his brothers Michael (Ellen), Nicholas (Mika) Zanchelli, his nephews Michael and Peter Zanchelli, his niece and goddaughter Gianna Zanchelli, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dearest friend Ella Cardae. 

Charles was a graduate of Mark Twain Middle School, Lincoln High School and was employed as a custodial engineer for the City of Yonkers School District. His sudden death is a shock to all and he will be dearly missed and forever loved by all whose lives he touched.

Arrangements are being handled by Flower Funeral Home, 714 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers, with visitation Thursday, Dec. 28 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, Dec. 29 at 10:45 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church with an interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
