YONKERS, N.Y. -- Longtime Yonkers resident Carmel M. Finnegan died Tuesday, Jan. 5. He was 80.
Born in Ireland, Finnegan worked as an office manager for Prudential Insurance in New York City.
She loved great food and always was trying new dishes at restaurants in the area. She was a member of the Church of Saint Eugene.
Finnegan is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Jacqueline; sister, Maureen; brothers, Noel, Larry and Frank; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Bridie.
A memorial Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Saint Eugene Church, 31 Massitoa Rd., in Yonkers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Church of Saint Eugene, 31Massitoa Rd., Yonkers, NY 10710-5015.
