YONKERS, N.Y. -- Ann Marie Drace, of Yonkers, died Sept. 24. She was 64 years old.
Drace was a lifelong Yonkers resident, where she attended Roosevelt High School and graduated from Mercy College, receiving a bachelor's degree in sociology. She retired from Verizon after 25 years of employment.
She was predeceased by her parents Nicholos and Ella Forgione.
She is survived by her loving partner of 35 years, Susan Shofi; her aunt, Johanna Panebianco; and three cousins.
A memorial service to honor Ann's life will take place at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 82 Prospect St., White Plains.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the ASPCA or any group benefiting the lives of animals.
