Angelo Contrino, 90, Of Yonkers

YONKERS, N.Y. – Angelo Contrino, resident of Yonkers, died Saturday, Jan.9. He was 90.

Contrino graduated from Saunders HS and was a WWII US Navy Veteran where he was a Machinist 3rd class. His knowledge of airplanes, and ships as well as being an avid craftsman made him an excellent model maker. He was a true patriot and was a proud veteran. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marie along with his three sons Charles, Daniel and Anthony. In addition he is survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Gaspar, and John, along with sister Lee Guerri.
