Anello F. Monaco, 88, Of Yonkers, Worked For Ebasco International

YONKERS, N.Y. - Anello F. Monaco of Yonkers died Sunday, April 20. He was 88.

Monaco was born Nov. 26, 1925, to Joseph and Maria (Merola) Monaco in the Bronx. He received his Master's Degree through the SUNY system. He was a senior consulting civil engineer for Ebasco International in New York City for over 30 years. He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran serving in Germany and fought at the Battle of the Bulge.

Monaco is survived by his children, Joseph and Barbara; brother, Richard (Marie) Monaco; three nieces and three nephews; and longtime companion, Michelle Moghazeh. He was predeceased by his sister, Tomasina Trovato.

Calling hours are Wednesday, April 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24 in Christ the King Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
