YONKERS, N.Y. – Alfreda C. Jakubek, of Yonkers, died Thursday, Nov. 5. She was 71.
Jakubek was born April 6, 1944, to Alfred and Jennie (nee Pucila) Jakubek in Yonkers.
She graduated from Sacred Heart High School and Iona College, working as a pharmaceutical representative for Boehringer Ingelheim Company for more than 35 years before retiring in 2007.
Jakubek was predeceased by her parents, sister Sally Kocur and brother Ronald.
She is survived by her brother Gary, two nieces, five nephews, and 13 great-nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave., Yonkers.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 9:30 am. Monday at Sacred Heart Church, 110 Shonnard Place, Yonkers.
Interment will follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
