Yonkers Residents Say Landlord Stingy With Heat

YONKERS, N.Y. -- While many across the region are outdoors enjoying sweater weather, some Yonkers residents are suffering with a landlord they say won't turn on the heat, according to News 12.

Several tenants of 921 McLean Ave. say they've been forced to sleep under multiple comforters at night, bundling themselves indoors despite complaints to the landlord, who has been cited for the same issue at least once in the past, according to the report.

According to the National Weather Service, Yonkers was under a freeze warning Sunday evening into Monday morning.
