Yonkers Residents Rally Against Budget Cuts

YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers parents and students from Casimir Pulaski School, Family School 32 and Kahlil Gibran School protested against budget cuts Wednesday on Central Park Avenue, reports lohud.

If the school district’s $551 million budget is reduced to $525 million, cuts may include 60 teachers, 41 staff members and cuts in building repairs, supplies and special education funding, according to the report.
