Yonkers Renames Street To Honor Native Son Sid Caesar

YONKERS, N.Y. -- The City of Yonkers honored television legend Sid Caesar by naming the block of Main Street between Riverdale and Hawthorne avenues after him on Tuesday, according to News 12 Westchester.

Caesar was a Yonkers native and a graduate of Yonkers High before becoming famous for his work in musicals and television shows like "Caesar’s Hour," News 12 Westchester reported. 

Caesar died earlier this year at the age of 91, News 12 Westchester said.
