The programs offered during the fall schedule include a huge assortment of classes for all ages. The venues are placed throughout the city including more than 70 parks and facilities, the rifle and pistol range, the skating center and others.

And when the city says they have something for everyone, they mean it: Pre-schoolers might like ballet, while an older child might prefer to swim or learn about baby-sitting. Or seniors might want to form some new friendships through walking programs or even, yoga classes.

A full lineup of classes are slated for teens too, with classes featuring such selections as acting and guitar classes, to getting fit and a wide spectrum of other programs.

Moms and dads haven't been forgotten with plenty of events that include tennis and dancing to art classes and exercise classes.

Prices range for events, with some classes offered for free.

The main Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department is at 285 Nepperhan Ave., Yonkers.
