UPDATED 9:30 p.m. YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Yonkers Public School District, along with many private schools, will be closed on Thursday because of the impending snowstorm.
The district made the announcement Wednesday.
The current list of private and parochial school closings are:
Ames Early Childhood Center Bryn Mawr Children’s Learning Center Butler Nursery School Children’s Playhouse of Yonkers Children’s Playhouse of Park Hill Cochran School of Nursing Creative Play Childcare Educational Opportunity Center of Westchester Sacred Heart Grade School Sacred Heart High School St Anthony School St Eugene School St John the Baptist School St Mark’s Lutheran School The Children’s Club Westchester School for Special Children Yonkers Christian Academy
