YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers police are reporting the possible abduction of a woman about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A female was walking with a male southbound on South Broadway and Radford Street. As the two crossed Radford Street, a dark-colored Nissan Altima pulled into a parking space on Radford Street, police said.

Once the vehicle came to a stop, the female approached the car, as the male she was with stood on the corner. The driver of the Nissan, exited the vehicle, approached the female and began to speak with her. After about a minute, the male began to strike the female, a struggle ensued, and the suspect attempted to force the female into the Nissan Altima, police said.

A second male exited the vehicle from the passenger side and assisted the suspect with forcing the victim into the car. The driver entered the vehicle in the rear seat with the victim. The passenger then entered the vehicle on the driver's side and drove off, police said.

It appears the female victim and the driver may know each other, police said. The suspect vehicle is an older model (1993-2001) dark color Nissan Altima. The vehicle’s driver's side headlight was being held in place with tape.

The victim is described as a young black female, about 14-18 years of age, about 5 feet 5 inches tall with long braided hair; she was wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark colored jeans and sneakers.
