Yonkers Police Investigate Theft Of Church's Artifacts

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers police are searching for one or more suspects who stole religious artifacts from Sacred Heart Church on Monday night or Tuesday morning, according to News 12 Westchester.

Two stained-glass windows were broken, a large cross, six chalices and an unidentified artifact were stolen from the church, News 12 Westchester said.

Authorities are searching through nearby surveillance films for clues but have not yet made any arrests, News 12 Westchester reported.
