The city wants to move the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 628 from its second-floor offices of the building at 470 Nepperhan Ave. to the third floor in order to make room for the Yonkers Chamber of Commerce, said lohud.com.

The problem? The union said that they were only given a two-week notice and that the third-floor offices are outdated and may be unsafe. They also said the offices are accessible by a public elevator and there is no way to lock the doors. The city said they will pay for the move, but the union is responsible for the preparation of the office space, added Lohud.com.
