The new Mill Street Courtyard will transform the core commercial block within the center of downtown Yonkers into a European style piazza.

The major public space will include a pedestrian and vehicular bridge, bike path, public artwork from artist Haifa Bint-Kadi and a new pedestrian gateway at 24 Warburton that will provide access from the Saw Mill River daylighting at Van Der Donck Park.

In addition to the courtyard and the daylighting of the Saw Mill River, the $8.3 million project will also rehabilitate the surrounding buildings with added commercial and retail space as well new residential units.
