Authorities were tipped off by an anonymous caller to the county's drug hotline in May. When it was determined that a marijuana growing operation was likely in the house, police secured a warrant and seized about 100 pot plants and $1,200 in cash, according to LoHud.com.

The Yonkers renter was charged unlicensed growing of cannabis, a misdemeanor, but could be charged with more pending an ongoing investigation, LoHud.com reported.
