Yonkers Inspector General Recommends Termination of Teacher Union Officials

The Inspector General conducted an investigation of the union officials caught on video by Project Veritas, along with raw footage of the video.

“Upon request, Project Veritas permitted the IG, an investigator, and an attorney representing the Yonkers Public Schools to view the unedited video in its entirety at their facility,” stated the report, released July 11. “Upon viewing the video, it is clear that no liberties were taken from a contextual perspective.”

“The Yonkers IG investigation is a victory for students in Yonkers which will hopefully resonate throughout the country,” said Project Veritas President James O’Keefe. “A Democratic administration in Yonkers investigated the raw footage and determined there were no edits which changed the context of the video. This type of bipartisanship helped to spotlight the corruption and abuse that students could potentially face as a result of elaborate union cover-ups. It’s also nice to see elected Democrats in Yonkers conclude that we do not deceptively edit our tapes.”

The Yonkers Federation of Teachers issued a statement calling McGrath's report "hastily produced in the middle of difficult contract negotiations, " according to lohud.com.

The American Federation of Teachers has also hired a firm to investigate the two union officials. Read the Inspector General’s report here.
