Kenneth Dearden, founder of DW Capital Associates and president of the Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business District, suffered serious wounds and was in the hospital for eight days after being shot. He initially told police that he thought someone broke in the house, but now alleges that his wife, NYPD psychologist Emily Dearden, shot him, according to the report.
