YONKERS, N.Y. – A Yonkers man claims in a new lawsuit that his wife was the one who shot him in the head last November in their residence as he slept so that she could be with her lover, reports LoHud.com .
Kenneth Dearden, founder of DW Capital Associates and president of the Yonkers Downtown/Waterfront Business District, suffered serious wounds and was in the hospital for eight days after being shot. He initially told police that he thought someone broke in the house, but now alleges that his wife, NYPD psychologist Emily Dearden, shot him, according to the report.
