Yonkers Church Gets Medical Beds, Furniture To Jamaican Hospitals

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Wartburg donated more than thirty medical beds, sixty nightstands and miscellaneous furniture to the Faith Deliverance Tabernacle Medical Outreach Mission in Yonkers.

Medical Outreach Mission will be forwarding the medical beds and furniture to hospitals and other medical facilities in Jamaica, West Indies that are in need of medical furniture. 

The furniture that has been donated was from the Wartburg’s Pavilion Skilled Nursing Building on its Mount Vernon Campus.

“Wartburg is very happy to be able to partner with Medical Outreach Mission by donating medical beds and furniture to hospitals in Jamaica.  We are pleased that we can make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families, particularly as a number of our employees have family members and loved ones in Jamaica.” David J.
