The tabby cat was found Wednesday afternoon in front of 28 King Ave., according to a post from Facebook user Liz Jennings.

The cat was taken to the Animal Specialty Center on Odell Plaza, but did not survive, Jennings said.

The animal, which was said to be primarily orange with a white neck and white hind legs, was not wearing a collar and had not been microchipped, Jennings said in her post.

"He was a beautiful cat," she said. "I just wanted to post his information in case anyone is looking for him."

Jennings said she can provide photographs upon request.

Anyone who may know of a missing tabby cat fitting that description should visit the Lost PETS of Westchester County NY Facebook page.
